Zeera matar pulav in Indian style
How to make zeera matar pulav restaurant style:-
Zeera matar pulav is very famous dish in India. This dish is very simple, quick,easy and delicious. We can make Zeera Matar pulav on special occasion also. It is made from very simple ingridients almost available in everyone's kitchen. It takes less time to cook and people as well as kids love to eat this recipe. In India people usually eat Zeera Matar pulav with chana dal tadka. You can enjoy this dish with any gravy or bhaji of your choice. So, let's learn how to make this recipe.
Ingredients for making Zeera Matar Pulav:-
◻️ Basmati Rice - 200gm (2 cups)
◻️ Frozen matar(peas) - 50 gm
◻️ Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
◻️ Ghee - 2 tbsp
◻️ Cinnamon - small piece
◻️ Bay leaf - 1 piece
◻️ Green cardamoms - 2 pieces
◻️ Star anise - 3 to 4 pieces
◻️ Cloves - 4 to 5 pieces
◻️ Water - 2 cups
◻️ Salt as per taste
Directions for making pulav:-
➽ Firstly wash basmati rice with 2 or 3 times with water, drain all the water from it and keep aside.
➽ In the next process, heat ghee in pressure cooker, if you don't like ghee then you can use oil in the place of ghee.
➽ when the ghee gets properly heated then add cumin seeds, add cinnamon, bay leaf, crushed green cardamoms, star anise, cloves and saute till all the ingredients gets golden brown colour.
➽ Now, add washed basmati rice, frozen peas and salt together and stir for 1/2 minutes low flame.
➽ Further, add water in the pressure cooker, and bring to boil, don't close the lid.
➽ When it gets started to boil then close the lid of pressure cooker and leave it on full flame till it only one whistle.
➽ when pressure cooker give one whistle, rest it for 10 minutes. After that, open the lid, now your Zeera matar pulav is ready, serve hot with bhaji or chana dal tadka or any gravy of your choice and enjoy with your family.
