Vermicelli Kheer/Semiya Kheer/Seviya Kheer Dessert
How to make vermicelli kheer:-

Vermicelli kheer is very popular sweet dish in India and it is almost made in every household of India. It is mostly eaten after dinner as a dessert and it can be made on special occasions like marriage function, kitty party, birthday party, naming ceremony etc. It is mostly made in festival of 'Id'. It is the Indian dessert recipe which is made with lots of milk, dry fruits,sugar and roasted vermicelli. This delicious sweet recipe is always favorite of kids as well as adults and it is quick, simple, super easy and takes very less amount of time to cook. So, let's start making vermicelli kheer or sevai kheer.

Ingredients for making vermicelli kheer:-
- Vermicelli - 150 gm
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
- Full cream milk - 1 litre
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tbsp(small)
- Almond - (finely chopped)
- Cashews - 4 to 6 (chopped)
Directions for making vermicelli kheer:-
1. Firstly, heat ghee in kadai and when it gets perfectly heated then add semiya or vermicelli and roast on low flame till it gets golden brown colour.
2. Now, in a pan pour milk and bring to boil.
3. Now, add roasted vermicelli in milk and stir in between so that the semiya or vermicelli does stick in the bottom of the pan.
4. Let the vermicelli and milk bring to boil.
5. Once the milk starts boiling then add sugar and stir for one minute so that sugar fully dissolve in the milk.
6. Now, add condensed milk, cardamom powder, chopped almond, chopped cashews into it and stir it for 1 minute and cook on low flame till kheer gets thickens and don't forget to stir in between for more than 2 to 3 times.
7. Check the taste of kheer if needed add some more sugar.
8. Now, turn off the flame, garnish with some chopped dry fruits and serve vermicelli kheer hot or chilled as of your choice and enjoy.
