How to make Fried rice/Indian style fried rice:-

Fried rice is a Indo chinese food. Fried rice is very famous dish in Asian country. It is mostly made from the leftover rice and vegetables. It is very healthy, quick, flavourful dish which is like by adults as well as kids. It is very famous street food in India. In menu book of restaurant Veg Fried rice is always available and we love to order this. Fried rice is the dish made from regular ingredients available in the kitchen. It is very easy to cook. so, lets learn how to make this recipe.


Ingredients for making recipe:-

  • Cooked rice or left over rice - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
  • Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves
  • Green chilli - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
  • Tomato - 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • curry leaves - 6 to 8
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnishing (chopped)

Directions for making Fried rice:-

ㅁ Firstly, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

◻️ When cumin seeds began to crackle then add chopped garlic and saute till it gets golden brown in colour.

◻️ Now, add chopped onion,green chilli , curry leaves and stir fry till the onion gets translucent.


◻️ Further, add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, salt as required, garam masala powder for better aroma and saute for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame till the tomato gets soft.


◻️ Now in the next process add cooked rice in a pan and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes.


◻️ Now yummy, delicious fried rice is ready, garnish with the fresh chopped coriander leaves, serve hot and enjoy with your family.
