Hello friends, welcome in my cooking blog. Friends today i will share my favorite dish that is "bodi" ki sabji and in english we call it "string beans". Friends, this sabji is actually eaten in north reason of India. It is one of the best green vegetables and as we know that we should include green veggies in our daily routine because it contains essential vitamins and minerals which is very important for our body's health. string bean's sabji can be eaten in breakfast with paratha or roti or chappati and as a lunch with dal and rice and as a dinner also. String beans's sabji is very delicious to eat and it is very simple, quick and easy recipe and it is made with the regular ingredients available in everyone's kitchen. So, friends let's start making Bodi ki sabji.

Ingridients for making String Beans Ki Sabji:-
- String beans(bodi) - 250 gm
- Tomato - 2 medium(finely chopped)
- Onion - 2 medium (finely chopped)
- Green chilli - 2 piece
- Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
- Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
- Water - 1 cup
Directions for making String beans ki sabji:-
1. Firstly, wash string beans(bodi) 3 to 4 times with water.
2. Now, cut all string beans(bodi) into 1 inch of measurement.
3. After that, in mixer jar take chopped tomato, 1 chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, 1/4 cup of water, blend it and make a smooth paste.
4. Now, heat oil in a kadai/pan.
5. When oil gets perfectly heated then add cumin seeds.
6. When cumin seeds began to crackle then add chopped onion, chopped green chilli and saute till it become translucent.
7. Now, add chopped string beans(bodi) and saute it on medium flame for 5 minutes.
8. After that, add tomato - onion paste, garam masala powder, salt and saute it on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes until oil comes out from it.
9. Further, add 1 cup of water and simmer it on medium flame until string beans(bodi) absorb all the water and become soft.
10. Now, your string beans(bodi ) ki sabji is sabji is ready to eat. So, eat this sabji with dal-rice or paratha or roti or chappati and enjoy with your family.
