Peanut Chutney/Roasted Mungfali ki Chutney
How to make peanut chutney/ spicy roasted mungfali ki chutney:-
About recipe:-
Peanut chutney is very famous in almost all regions(north, center, south) of India and people of all age group from kids to adult love to eat this chutney. Peanut chutney mostly consumed with idli, dosa, vada, medu vada, chilla etc. Peanut chutney is very simple, quick and easy to make and it takes very less amount of time. It is made with the normal ingredient which is easily available in your kitchen and you can store this for 4 to 5 days. Peanut is very healthy for our body and contains many essential vitamins, minerals and peanut is rich source of protein also. Eating peanut helps in fights depression, reduces the risk of heart attack, curing in stomach cancer, regulates blood sugar level, good for our skin and bone density and many more. Peanuts have various beneficial properties that is why we should include eating peanut in our daily routine. So, today i will introduce the recipe of peanut chutney which tastes very delicious and very easy to make. So, let's start making it.
Ingredients for making peanut chutney:-
- Peanut - 3/4 cup (roasted)
- Garlic - 2 to 3 cloves
- Green chilli - 2 pieces
- Salt - 1/2 tbsp or according to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 6 to 8
Direction for making peanut chutney:-
1. Firstly, heat a pan, add peanuts and roast it without oil for 5 minutes on low flame.
2. Turn off the flame and cool the peanuts.
3. Now, soak it in water for 10 minutes.
4. After that, drain all the water from it and keep aside.
5. Further, in a mixer jar add roasted and soaked peanuts, green chilli, garlic, lemon juice, water, salt according to taste, blend it and make a smooth paste.
6. Now, transfer all the chutney from mixer jar into bowl, if needed means if chutney is too thick then you can add some water into it.
7. Now, in the next process we will prepare tempering(tadka) for chutney.
8. Turn on the flame and heat oil in tadka pan and mustard seeds and when it will began to pop up then add curry leaves.
9. Turn off the flame and pour all the oil solution over chutney and mix it very well.
10. Delicious peanut chutney is ready to eat. You can serve this chutney with idli, dosa, vada, pakoda and many more and you can store peanut chutney in refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
