How to make Indian style Paneer Manchurian:-

Hey guys, welcome you all in my cooking blog. Friends, today i am going to share a delicious, mouth watering dish that is paneer manchurian. Friends, manchurian is Indo-Chinese food and people love to eat this dish in all over India. Paneer is also known as cottage cheese made from milk and it is very healthy for our body as it contains all the essential nutrients. Paneer the Indian cheese is full of protein and calcium and it improves strong bone health, helps in weight loss, improves immune system of our body, provides energy to our body, protects from cancer, heart attack and it has different essential beneficial property. Friends if you are purely vegetarian and you must add paneer or paneer dishes in your daily routine and it is best option vegetarian people and pregnant women. By using paneer the Indian cheese we can make different types of dishes like paneer paratha, paneer bhurji, paneer pakoda, matar paneer ki sabji, and it is also used in many types of sweets. Guys, crispy paneer manchurian is very quick, light and easy recipe and made from normal ingredients mostly available in every household. Paneer manchurian is mostly eaten as evening snacks and it can be served as starter also and it can be served in special occasion like birthday parties, kitty parties, marriage ceremony, naming ceremony and many more functions. Paneer manchurian is always my favorite recipe and my family members specially my husband like to eat paneer manchurian as evening snacks and in weekends i always prefer to make manchurian for my family and trust me guys if you will make manchurian in this way then your family members  will surely become big fan of yours. So, guys let's start making crispy paneer manchurian.


Paneer Manchuian
Dry Crispy Paneer Manchurian

Ingredients for making crispy paneer manchurian:-

For making paneer pakodas:-

  • Panner - 250 gm
  • Corn flour - 2 tbsp
  • Maida (all purpose flour) - 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Black soya sauce - 1 tbsp


For making manchurian gravy:-
  • Black soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - as required
  • Chings manchurian masala - 1 packet
  • Green capsicum - 1 medium 
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 medium
  • Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Water - 1/2 cup
Directions for making crispy paneer manchurian:-

1. Firstly, cut paneer into small cubes.

2. In a bowl, take corn flour, maida(all purpose flour), turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, black soya sauce, water and mix all the ingredients well and make a smooth paste and keep in mind that there should not remain any lumps in the paste.



3. Paste should have pouring consistency and add all paneer cubes into it and mix it well, cover the lid and rest it for 10 minutes for marination.

4. After that, heat oil in kadai.

5. When the oil gets perfectly heated then add the marinated paneer cubes in oil and fry from both the side on medium flame until it become crispy and get golden brown in colour.

6. Now, take out all the paneer pakodas on kitchen paper towel and in this way fry all the paneer pakodas.



Directions for making gravy for paneer manchurian:-

1. Firstly, cut capsicum and onion into square shape and on other side take chings manchurian masala in a bowl, add water and mix it well.

2. Heat oil in kadai.

3. when oil gets perfectly heated then add chopped garlic, ginger and stir fry for 1/2 minute on low flame.



4. After that, add chopped capsicum, chopped onion and stir fry for 1/2 minute on medium flame till it becomes translucent.



5. Further, add black soya sauce, tomato sauce, green chilli sauce, salt, red chilli powder, vinegar, solution of chings manchurian masala and water and stir fry for 1/2 minute on medium flame.



6. Now, add water and bring it to boil.

7. After that, add fried paneer pakodas into it and cook on medium flame for 3 minutes till the manchurian gets thicken.



8. Turn off the flame, transfer all the paneer manchurian on a serving plate, garnish with the chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot and enjoy.

Important Notes:-

1. Guys, you can use the solution of water and corn flour in the place of chings manchurian masala to make gravy thick.

2. Paste of corn flour and maida (all purpose flour) should not be too thick or too thin.
