How to make Lauki ki Rasedar Sabji/Bottle Guard Ki Gravy wali Sabji:-

We all know Bottle guard is very much beneficial for our body. Bottle guard helps in digestion and cure stomach problems. It treats urinary problems, keeps our heart healthy, cure the sleeping disorder, helps in weight loss, provides cooling effect in body, it's juice also helps in curing diabetes patient. Bottle guard is beneficial for our in many ways. So, we can make Bottle guard in a very tasty way. Lauki ki sabji is a north Indian dish. People love to eat this sabji with roti,chappati, dal and rice. Lauki ki sabji is very simple, delicious, quick and easy to make. It takes very less amount of time to cook. So, let's start the process of making Lauki ki sabji in step step by step pics.

Ingredients for Lauki ki gravy wali sabji:-

  • Bottle guard - 2 cups (chopped)
  • Onion - 1 medium (finely sliced)
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Tomato - 1 large (finely chopped)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnishing

Directions for making the recipe:-

1. Firstly, wash and chop Bottle guard and tomato into small pieces,
and finely slice the onion.


2. Now, heat oil in a kadai.



3. Add cumin seeds into oil and when it began to crackle then add sliced onion and saute till it gets golden brown in colour.





4. Now, add tomato, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and saute until oil oozes out from it.





5. Further, add chopped Bottle guard and stir fry for 1 minute on medium flame.




6. Add 1 cup of water into it and cook on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes until the Lauki become soft.



7. Now, Lauki ki sabji is ready to eat, garnish with the chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti, chappati , dal and rice and share your experience with me.
