Karela Do pyaza/Bitter gourd in Indian style
How to make Karela Do Pyaza in restaurant style:-
Karela Do Pyaza is a north Indian dish and very popular in India. As we know Bitter guard have many beneficial properties, it helps in cleaning our blood and it is also beneficial for Diabetic patient. It has chemical like insulin which helps in controlling the sugar level in blood. The Bitter guard plant used as medicinal purpose, Bitter guard also helps in reducing the bad cholesterol levels in blood. Over all Bitter guard is beneficial for our body. We know it is very bitter in taste, children don't like to eat Bitter guard. But, in this blog i will guide you that how to make Bitter Guard(karela) in very tasty way. It is usually made in tomato based gravy. Trust me if you make karela in this way, your family member will become fan of yours. So, let's get started.
Ingredients for making recipe:-
➔ Bitter guard(karela) - 300 gm
➔ Onion - 4 (finely sliced)
➔ Tomato - 3 pieces (finely chopped)
➔ Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped)
➔ Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
➔ Oil - 4 to 5 tbsp
➔ Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
➔ Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
➔ Salt as per taste
Directions for making the recipe:-
🔺 Firstly, wash Bitter guard and cut it into thin round shape.
🔺 Now, heat 3 tbsp oil in kadhai/pan and add sliced karela in the kadhai/pan.
🔺 Suate karela for 8 to 10 minutes on medium flame till it gets the golden brown in colour.
🔺 Now keep it out on a bowl and in the same kadhai/pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
🔺 When oil gets properly heated then add sliced onion and chopped green chilli.
🔺 Saute untill it gets golden brown in colour and after that add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt as per taste and fry it on medium flame till the tomato get soft.
🔺 when the tomato get soft, add fried karela(Bitter guard) and stir it for one minute.
🔺 Now, your Karela do pyaza is ready. Serve hot with dal and rice or paratha or roti, enjoy and share your experience with me.
