Aloo soyabean ki sabji/Spicy aloo soyavadi ki gravy wali sabji
How to make aloo soyabin/aloo soyavadi ki sabji:-
About recipe:-
Aloo soyabean ki sabji very popular in north India. It is basically made in spicy tomato based gravy which is tastes very yummy. As we know soyabean is rich source of protein which is very essential for our body, it boost our metabolic functioning in our body, it is good for our heart health, it prevents from heart attack and heart stroke, it improves our digestive system and it is good for our bones also. It also helps reducing cholesterol levels in our body. It is very beneficial in cancer. At last but not the least soyavadi has many good property which is very essential for our body. Soyavadi aloo ki sabji is very quick, simple and easy recipe which takes very less amount of time to cook and tastes very delicious. If you have no any green vegetables available in your kitchen then you can make aloo soyavadi ki sabji very easily. You can make this finger licking dish in hurry when you have nothing to serve to your guests. This sabji can be served with hot puffed poori/puri, roti, chappati, naan and with rice also. So, let's start the process of making aloo soyavadi ki sabji.
Ingredients for making recipe:-
- Potato(aloo) - 3 medium (boiled and peeled)
- Soyachunks(soyavadi) - 100 gm
- Tomato - 2 medium(finely chopped)
- Onion - 2 medium(finely chopped)
- Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp(small)
- Green chilli - 2 piece(finely chopped)
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic - 5 to 6
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Water - 2 cups
- Coriander leaves - for garnishing(finely chopped)
Directions for making recipe:-
1. Firstly, soak soyachunks in lukewarm water for 5 to 8 minutes and after that squeeze all the water from it and keep all the soyachunks aside.
2. Now, boil all potatoes, peel them and cut them into small pieces.
3. Further, heat oil in a kadai and when it gets perfectly heated then add boiled chopped potato in kadai and saute for 2 to 3 minutes until it gets light golden brown in colour.
4. Now, in grinder jar take chopped tomato, 1 chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic, bay leaf and make a smooth paste.
5. After that, once again heat oil in the same kadai.
6. Add cumin seeds and when it began to crackle then add 1 chopped onion and saute till it gates translucent.
7. Add tomato - onion paste,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder in kadai and saute on medium flame for 5 to 8 minutes until the oil oozes out from it.
8. Add fried potatoes and stir fry for 1 minute on medium flame.
9. Add 1 cup of water into it and simmer on medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes until the gravy thickens.
10. Now, your aloo soyavadi ki sabji is ready to eat, garnish with chopped corinder leaves and serve hot with the hot puffed pooris/puris, roti, chappati, naan or rice as of your choice and enjoy.
