As we know that we should drink 8 to 10 glass water everyday but if we will make habbit of drinking lukewarm water everyday at least 3 to 4 glass in empty stomach then it will protect us from many harmful diseases. Buttermilk have many health benefits like it cools our stomach after having spicy food, it improves our digestive system, work as fat cutter, give reliefs from acidity, prevents from cancer and dehydration, helps in lowering the cholesterol level and it has plenty of essential nutrients which improves our health. So, in summer season we should include this refreshing drink after having meal in our daily routine. Masala Chaas/Spicy Buttermilk

Ingredients for making Masala chaas(buttermilk):-

  • Yogurt(dahi) - 1 cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tbsp(finely chopped)
  • Black salt - as required
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder - 1 tbsp
Directions for making masala chaas(spicy buttermilk):-


1. Firstly, heat a pan and roast cumin seeds without oil on medium flame for 2 minutes until it get golden brown.

2. After that, Keep it aside and cool it.

3. After cooling it, put in a mixer jar, blend it and make a smooth powder.

4. Now, in a mixer jar take chopped coriander leaves,add black salt, yogurt(dahi), chopped green chilli, roasted cumin powder, chopped ginger, blend it and make a smooth paste.

5. Now, add water as needed and mix it very well.

6. Masala chaas is ready to take. Enjoy it after your meal or with your meal.

Hey everyone, i am Sonam and welcome in my cooking blog. Guys, today i am going to share with you a very famous Indian sweet dessert that is "Jalebi". Guys, jalebi is almost eaten in all over India but in north India it is very popular. Jalebi is mostly eaten in breakfast with hot "kachori" or after having spicy breakfast and it is also famous in Gujrat, people of Gujrat consume this sweet with "fafda". Jalebi is mostly made in special occasions like in marriage functions, birthday ceremony and in Indian festival like Holi, Dussehra, Diwali. My family members are huge fan of jalebi, in weekends my husband always used to bring jalebi and we enjoy it after dinner. So, my son and me also love to eat crispy, crunchy and juicy jalebi. Jalebi is easy to make and in different way we can make jalebi and in this blog i will share the easiest way of making jalebi. so, friends no need to worry please follow the instruction of recipe given below and make your family happy.

Indian Sweet Jalebi
Indian Sweet Jalebi

Ingredients
 for making Indian Sweet Jalebi:-

  • All purpose flour(maida) - 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - for frying
  • Kesar - 1 tsp 
Directions for making jalebi:-

1. First of all, in a bowl take maida(all purpose flour), curd, baking powder, rice flour and with the help of water make smooth batter and the batter should have pouring consistency.

2. There should no lumps left behind in it and if needed add some water in it and the batter should not be too thick or too thin.

3. Now, cover the lid of bowl and keep the batter in a warm place for 7 to 9 hours for fermentation.

4. After fermentation mix the batter 2 to 3 times in clockwise direction.

5. After that, turn on the flame and in pan add water, sugar, kesar, cardamom powder and boil it on a low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.

6. Now, check the sugar syrup in between yours fingers, if you feel stickiness and one wire of sugar syrup then it is perfectly done.

7. Further, heat oil in a pan.

8. If oil is perfectly heated then turn the flame medium.

9. Now, pour little amount of jalebi batter in tomato ketchup bottle for making jalebi.

10. Now, in oil with the help of tomato ketchup bottle make a shape of jalebi and fry it on medium flame until it become crunchy and crispy from both the side.

11. In the same way, fry all the jalebi till they become crispy and crunchy.

12. Now, take it out all the fried jalebi and put all the jalebi in the sugar syrup for 2 minutes.

13. Friends, Crispy, crunchy and juicy jalebi is ready to serve. Serve jalebi hot with the rabdi or kachori and sabji.

Important notes:-

1. You can make jalebi in milk plastic and ready made cone for making jalebi or in soft cloth which have small hole in center.

2. Keep in mind that the jalebi batter should have pouring consistency and it should not be too thin or too thick.

3. Don't keep jalebi in sugar syrup more than 2 minutes other wise it will become soft.

Friends, spinach(palak) contains a lots of beneficial properties which improves our health. Palak(spinach) is full of iron and calcium which protect us from anaemia and improves our bone health. Palak(spinach) improves our eye vision, good for heart health, Helps in weight loss, promotes hair growth, good for our skin and our hair, helps in curing sun tan, acne and also improves our immune system. We should include palak(spinach) in our daily routine because it has many health benefits. we can make many food items from using spinach like palak and aloo ki sabji, dal palak, palak pakode, palak kofta, palak paneer and many more. Palak(spinach) and aloo(potato) ki sabji is very easy and simple to cook. Palak and aloo ki sabji is mainly made in tomato based gravy and it is very delicious to eat. Palak and aloo ki sabji can be consumed in morning breakfast with puri, paratha, roti or chappati and it can be eaten as lunch with dal-rice and in dinner also. so, let's learn the procedure of making palak and aloo ki sabji.

Ingridients for making palak aloo ki sabji:-


  • Spinach(palak) - 1 bunch(washed and finely chopped)
  • Potato - 3 medium(peeled and diced)
  • Tomato - 3 medium(finely chopped)
  • Onion - 1 medium(finely chopped)
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  • Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water - 1 cup
Directions for making palak aloo ki sabji:-

1. Firstly, clean all the spinach, wash at least 3 to 4 times and finely chop it.

2. Now, wash all the potato, remove its outer cover or peel it and finely dice it.

3. After that, heat oil in kadai.


4. When oil gets perfectly heated then add cumin seeds.
5. When cumin seeds start crackling then add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilli and saute it till they get golden brown in colour.

6. Now, add diced potato and saute it on medium flame for 5 minutes till they get light golden colour.


7. Now, add finely chopped tomato,ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder and saute it on medium flame till the tomato get soft and oil oozes out from it.

8. Further, add finely chopped palak(spinach) and stir fry for 1 minute on medium flame.

9. After that, add 1 cup of water and simmer it on medium flame for 6 to 8 minutes until it absorb all the water and becomes thick as all the gravy wali bhaji looks like.

10. Now, palak(spinach) and aloo(potato) ki gravy wali sabji is ready to eat, transfer it in serving plate and serve hot with puri or roti or paratha or chappati or dal-rice and enjoy.

Hello friends, welcome in my cooking blog. Friends today i will share my favorite dish that is "bodi" ki sabji and in english we call it "string beans". Friends, this sabji is actually eaten in north reason of India. It is one of the best green vegetables and as we know that we should include green veggies in our daily routine because it contains essential vitamins and minerals which is very important for our body's health. string bean's sabji can be eaten in breakfast with paratha or roti or chappati and as a lunch with dal and rice and as a dinner also. String beans's sabji is very delicious to eat and it is very simple, quick and easy recipe and it is made with the regular ingredients available in everyone's kitchen. So, friends let's start making Bodi ki sabji.

 Ingridients for making String Beans Ki Sabji:-

  • String beans(bodi) - 250 gm
  • Tomato - 2 medium(finely chopped)
  • Onion - 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli - 2 piece
  • Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 1 cup
Directions for making String beans ki sabji:-

1. Firstly, wash string beans(bodi) 3 to 4 times with water.

2. Now, cut all string beans(bodi) into 1 inch of measurement.


3. After that, in mixer jar take chopped tomato, 1 chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, 1/4 cup of water, blend it and make a smooth paste.

4. Now, heat oil in a kadai/pan.


5. When oil gets perfectly heated then add cumin seeds.


6. When cumin seeds began to crackle then add chopped onion, chopped green chilli and saute till it become translucent.


7. Now, add chopped string beans(bodi) and saute it on medium flame for 5 minutes.

8. After that, add tomato - onion paste, garam masala powder, salt and saute it on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes until oil comes out from it.

9. Further, add 1 cup of water and simmer it on medium flame until string beans(bodi) absorb all the water and become soft.


10. Now, your string beans(bodi ) ki sabji is sabji is ready to eat. So, eat this sabji with dal-rice or paratha or roti or chappati and enjoy with your family.
