How to make Mix Dal Chilla/Mix Dal Dosa:-

As we know pulses are very beneficial and important for our body. It is full of protein which gives energy to our body. Mix pulses have many proteins and it is good for vegetarians. Mix dal are rich in fiber which helps in reducing the cholesterol level in our body and it also boost digestive health. Mix pulses helps in reducing helps in weight loss and it controls our blood pressure also. we can eat Mix pulses in many ways like mix dal salad, Mix dal chilla, Mix dal dosa, Mix dal khichdi and many more. So, today we will make Mix dal chilla which is good for our health as it contains the different types of  beneficial properties. Let's start the process of making Mix dal chilla.

Ingredients for making Mix Dal Chilla:-

  • Mix Dal(mix pulses) - 150 gm (soaked)
  • Onion - 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli - 4 to 5 (chopped)
  • Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves
  • Ginger - 2 inch
  • Turmeric powder - 1 small tbsp
  • Salt - 1 Small tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch(finely chopped)
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - for shallow fry

Directions for making Mix Dal Chilla:-

1. Firstly, wash mix dal with 2 or 3 times with water and soak it in water about 5 to 6 hours.


2. After that, drain all the water from dal and add green chilli, garlic, ginger, blend it and make smooth batter. No,need to add more water into it, Just have pouring consistency.

3. Now, add chopped onion into it , chopped coriander leaves, turmeric powder, salt and mix all ingredients together.



4. heat oil in a pan.


5. After 3 to 4 minutes when the pan gets properly heated then put the chilla batter on the tava/pan and with the help of ladle spread it in circular motion and cook on medium flame.



6. After 3 to 4 minutes flip the Chilla and spread 1 to 2 tbsp oil on the edges of Chilla and cook till it gets golden colour from the both side.


7. Now, Chilla is ready to eat, serve hot with the green chutney, sambar, tomato-onion chutney or as of your choice and enjoy.
